How Does the Robert Half International Critical Illness Plan Work?
Critical Illness Insurance pays you a lump sum benefit when you are diagnosed with a covered illness. You choose the level of coverage—employee coverage between $5,000 and $50,000. You can use the money as you like.
Covered conditions include:
- Cancer
- Carcinoma in situ
- Heart attack
- Blindness
- Major organ failure
- End-stage kidney failure
- Coronary artery bypass surgery
- Benign brain tumor
- Coma as the result of severe traumatic brain injury
- Stroke
- Permanent paralysis as the result of a covered accident
Your affordable group rate is determined once, by your age at the date of enrollment. After that, premiums remain the same, despite changes to your age, health, or individual claim.
You can cover your spouse/domestic partner up to $30,000, if you are covered. Your unmarried children through age 24 are automatically covered for 25 percent of the employee benefit amount.
If you leave Robert Half International, you may keep your coverage without having to answer any new health questions.
